6.001 On Line Tutor: Registration

Welcome to the MIT iCampus public on-line tutor for Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs (MIT Course 6.001)

Anyone is welcome to use this system for demonstration and self-study, but you must register for an account and log in. To use this registration form, you must provide an email address to which we can send your initial password.

Note to students: If you have come to this page to register for a formal course arranged by your institution in cooperation with MIT, then you are at the wrong site. You should get the correct URL from your instructor.

Please enter the requested information in the spaces below.

  • The User Name will be the id that you will use to log in to the 6.001 tutor. It should be at least three characters long and contain only letters and numbers. It is case sensitive.
  • The email address should be a fully specified email address, for example, foo@somewhere.net

When you register we will email you a randomly generated password at the address you supply. When you first log in, you should change your password to something that you can more easily remember.

Note: In order to be able to accommodate new users on this open system, we will periodically delete old accounts.
